The purpose of this project is to bring public awareness to the architectural attractions, famous personalities and historical events of the cities of Košice and Miskolc through new interactive applications about each city´s memorial plaques.  The main outcomes of this project will be a free phone application in Slovak,  Hungarian and English available via the appstore, social networks and  websites. We will present the memorial plaques of both places with QR code, desciption, picture, voice record and information about document into the collections of The Jan Bocatius Regional Library in Kosice (leading partner) and The Regional and City Library of Francis II Racoszi in Miskolc (partner). Using a public photography competition: ´´The Memorials are Speaking: Stories, Fates, and History´´ we will include the public into this project.  Part of the project will be made into a movie, and a briefing,  using the mobile application, which will be presented long-term in main entrance halls of the cities landmarks with spoken text in the three languages and with English subtitles.  Project outcomes will be promoted through media, through workshops, including the photographic competition, as well as, video presentations, internet applications, and thematic guided tours for both cities. Participants of the first workshop will be tour guides, hoteliers, travel agencies, etc.   The second workshop will be open for entire public. This project will contribute to local patriotism by expanding the knowledge of the cities´ historyas  and have crossborder impact with of the partner city.  This project will be available long-term, also supporting tourism, will be maintained, and will impact the younger generation by use of modern technologies.
