TABLAB is an innovative initiative with the primary aim of providing theoretical and practical education increasing digital copmetencies. It focuses on community development, support and training of social and disadvantaged groups through short-term, workshop-style training in an informal setting, going beyond traditional pedagogical methods. TABLAB aims to achieve this through training in VR, audiovisual arts and sound technology. TABLAB is made up of young, innovative-minded professionals from the creative industries, digital technologies and VR who, in cooperation with the Infoklaszter, will share their knowledge and experience with young people from Slovakia and Hungary in three areas: VR (virtual reality), AV (audiovisual techniques) and SoundLab (sound and music composition). In addition to transferring know-how and practical skills, the project also aims to build a functioning youth community that will help to develop joint cultural and educational projects and incubate cross-border programmes.
