The main goal of this project is to improve the cross-border cooperation between public institutions (kindergarten and elementary schools), children and their families living in the involved settlements, as well as teachers through the implementation of joint programs, competitions and thematic events.
The main target groups of the project are the 3-6 years old children from the Napsugár Kindergarten in Bükkábrány, as well as 3-6 and 7-10 aged children of the Hungarian Language Primary School and Kindergarten in Szádalmás, with whom the partners want to teach the rules of safe traffic playfully, with quizzes. Another target group is kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers involved in the programs, who will get better understanding for each other's culture, values and language by participating in exchange programs, 3- and 5-day camps and amateur sports competitions in the two municipalities. Sports- and other equipment will be purchased which are necessary to implement the project programs.
The events will be attended by children both from Slovakia and Hungary, so the planned occasions will bring closer together children and their parents on both sides of the border.
The project contributes to the deepening of cooperation between the participating partner organizations and to the cross-border exchange of experience.
