The Ipoly Valley EGTC, through the implementation of the tender, provides an opportunity for its member municipalities to join forces that can bring cultural, social and economic prosperity to individual municipalities.
There are villages with significant development of tourism and traditions (Hollókő, Varsány, Rimóc, Rapovce, Kalonda) among the 28 member settlements of ETT, but most of them are settlements where the municipalities do not have an outbreak, their inhabitants are closed and frustrated. , they do not find the opportunity to exploit the values ​​and opportunities of the given settlement.
The aim of the project is to promote cooperation in the region at events where residents of the municipalities meet, exchange ideas and to boost the economic, social and cultural development of the region by expanding the network of cross-border contacts.
We support the organization of various events, such as: cultural meetings, agricultural, handicraft exhibitions, fairs, sports events, cup days, youth and thematic festivals. The municipalities invite representatives of the institutions of the member municipalities for each event, committing themselves to strengthen the cooperation.
