The main aim of the project is to strengthen cooperation between organisations in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Kosice counties in the border area, in the field environmental awareness. 
 It is important to strengthen and promote environmental awareness in all age groups, from schools to work place, and cross all environmental organisations in order to alleviate the future challenges of a changing natural environment and the negative effects of human activity.
Key objectives also include achieving high active participation in society in cross-border activities. Awareness raising events such as competitions and festivals for children, educational conferences and exhibitions for the adult population will promote our message.
The long-term goal is to create and maintain a more livable living environment with the involvement of the local population.
Many environmental problems are a negative consequence of human activity, which could be avoided by increasing education and awareness. The project is aimed at developing an educational awareness in this field.
The objectives of the project are in line with the objectives of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme and priority 4 (improving cross-border cooperation between public institutions and people living in border areas).
Through joint awareness-raising activities amongst the  school children and the general public, social participation in cross-border activities increases.
The joint activities bring the population of the border area, especially young people and their families, closer together, improving mutual understanding and bilingualism.
Long-term, sustainable cooperation between project partners will be established, in particular in the field of shared environmental approach and education.
