The main goal of the project is to create a unique sports network based on close cooperation between Slovak and Hungarian partners and active cooperation with sports clubs in the concerned regions. This unique sports network is called THE CROSS BOX. The first point of the network (Crossfit Gym in Lipovník, district of Rožňava) will connect sports clubs of eligible regions. However, the long-term vision of the project is to extend the concept to other border regions and increase the number of crossfit points. The essence of the individual THE CROSS BOX points is to involve sports clubs, connect regions, organize joint training camps, share experience and networking. A very important pillar of the project is the support of sports clubs which due to the coronavirus-related situation are struggling with financial difficulties significantly limiting their opportunities to participate in training camps. The advantage of the concept is that any sports club may participate in it, as crossfit trainings can be a training part in any sport. Emphasizing the importance of a strong immune system and promoting a healthy lifestyle is also part of our most important goals. An important element of cross-border cooperation is experience sharing between project partners, the Hungarian partners have experience in the field of crossfit, which is not yet very widespread on the Slovak side.  Other key elements of the project include preparation of a training program, connection of sports clubs and organization of joint training camps. A professionally equipped crossfit gym in which any club can set up a training according to their needs based on the prepared training program and close cooperation between the participating clubs will certainly lead to successful fulfillment of the above goals.
