The subject of the project is to create traditions between the two municipalities by organising events together and to insure appropriate conditions for the cooperation of young residents. The core of the project forms the strengthening and expansion of cross-border cooperation, which also includes organising exchange visits. Within the framework of this project municipality Čečejovce plans to present the beauties of the region, such as the local flora and fauna, the local churches and historical monuments, as well as to present the county town and the micro-region. Planned activities also include various competitions, educational presentations, performances and excursion to our mountains. Municipality Markaz plans to present the attractions of the region with field trips to the thermal power plant, the water area, castle ruins, the Holy Crown Monument, the Treasury exhibition of the St. Bartholomew's-church in the Holy Crown House, the highest point of the country and the nearby adventure park. The outcome of the project would be the Mátra-Tátra event, which would take place in both villages. Secondary plans include to equip the interior spaces. Čečejovce and Markaz plans to create places in their own village, which could serve for games, spending free time together and meaningfully, solving logical tasks, activities on PC. The interiors would be equipped with appropriate furniture, tables, chairs, computer equipment, interactive projector, air conditioning and television. The idea is common. In the past a Slovak community lived in Markaz, whose traditions we want to bring to life within this project. In Čečejovce still lives and actively works a Hungarian community, who will be supported for preservation of traditions by this project.
