The main aim of the project is to increase the attractiveness of areas on both sides of the border through Community activities to strengthen cross-border cooperation, which will also increase the number of visitors to border areas.
The basic idea of ​​the project is to create and organize joint activities focusing on the preservation and protection of our cultural heritage, as well as to develop and organize programs for tourists and disadvantaged groups, exchange experiences between partners, organize joint festivals, cooperate in cross-border projects for tourists. it can make border settlements more attractive.
The village of Tizsite is close to the site of the Battle of Rozgonyi, and Mogyoróska is close to the Regecs Castle. Historically, both areas belonged to the famous Amadé family.
Part of the project is to reduce the lack of communication infrastructure of the participating partners and, in the case of the Slovak partner, to maintain the site of the historic event.
The implementation of the project will contribute to the intensification of cooperation between local communities in the border region, to the acquaintance and deepening of relations between people on both sides of the border, to the knowledge and preservation of natural heritage for future generations, and to traditional culture.
