The  aim of this project is to support  and grow the turism business across the border between Slovakia and Hungary. Both countries have got a similar mountainous type of landscape.

The project is to happen inwithin an oak hornbeam forests in Volovske Vrchy (Slovakia) and Slanska Pahorkatina (Hungary). The "Green Oxygen Trek" is to be created in the forest in village Panovce.  A viewing tower is to be built in village Litka with a stunning 360 degrees view of the local scenery. Zemplinske Vrchy and hill Aggtelek would be also visible from the viewing tower. This project is aimed to bring visitors into the area and we also see a great  potential in agricultural growth of both partners and an increase of the turism business. 
We would also like to grow the cultural aspects of the two locations as they not only share the border but they are also bound together by a long and rich historical and cultural traditions. This could lead to many opportunities to connect the two regions and to educate about the area and its beautiful history.
