In the project, we would like to get both the Hungarian and the Slovakian population acquainted with the culinary customs and homemade products of the two countries and also to draw attention to the importance of supporting local producers.   Planned implementation is through events and promotional materials. We would like to organize culinary afternoons, where the participants can get to know the food and drinks of the two regions.  Furthermore, we would organize workshops where internationally renowned bartenders and chefs could give presentations. Culinary picnics would also be organized to enable local producers to exhibit and sell their products. Our plans are to have all three events on both sides of the border, shooting a promotional video about them and airing it on local and regional tv and the Internet, furthermore, we would also prepare print detailing the culinary customs of the two countries.

The main objective is to enhance cross-border institutional cooperation and broaden cross-border cooperation among the citizens. The implementation of the small project would cause an increase in the amount of cross-border cooperation among the people and a new cross-border exchange of experiences through getting to know each other's culinary customs would start. The number of long-lasting institutionalized partnerships would grow because the two organizations, Youth for Bodva Walley (SK) and the Cultural and Recreational Association for the Bereg Youth (HU) have not cooperated in the past, so a new long-term partnership would form. There will also be a high number of sustainable events covering the whole program area thanks to the aforementioned programs. Bilingualism will also improve in the program area. We would like to create bilingual technical publications.
