The project builds on the history, cultural heritage and traditions of two settlements: Miskolc and Fülek. The aim of the project is to strengthen the cultural life of the settlements by organizing joint cultural events, as a result of which we wish to strengthen the tourism potential of the area and increase the number of visitors.

The initial common goal is to preserve, present and promote the values that represent an important slice of the local cultural heritage of the two settlements, using new, innovative tools. In order to achieve this goal, we organize interactive city tours, colorful, joint cultural programs and festivals. We accompany all these events with a variety of visual elements to enhance the impact of the events: feature documentaries, implement community art activities (performance, light painting - videomapping, installation) and organise roundtable discussions. In addition to the festivals, exhibition and international “kama” cups contribute to the promotion of the towns and cities, thus increasing the tourist potential. At the end of the project, a group from Miskolc and a group from Fülek will be able to try the tours out in the frame of a study tour.
All this is not autotelic, not only the inhabitants of the two relevant cities are targeted, but also to put the territory on the tourism map The development of cultural tourism in the region will increase the attractiveness of the border region and also make it possible to develop social cohesion.
