The aim of the project “The river which connect us.” is to improve the level of cross-border cooperation in the field of tourism development on the river Hornád.

By implementing the project the cooperation between the various stakeholders will be strengthened and improved through the implementation of joint professional programs, training, exchange of experience, capitalization and transfer of know-how. The main outcome of the project is a feasibility study for the purpose of developing the cross-border area of the Hornád River as a tourist destination. The study will cover the cadastral area of 36 municipalities in Slovakia and 25 municipalities in Hungary. River & Mountain civil association in cooperation with Creative Team Alapítvány plans to implement 5 activities as part of the project over a 12-month period.
