One of the main aims of the project is to create a craft tourism route, to brand it, and to use and promote the created product. The route connects artisan craftsmen in the project area, whose workshops are open for those who are interested, and they themselves are open to learning, developing and transferring their knowledge. It allows you to get to know the atmosphere of the workshop, the process of creation and especially the creators.
Our goal is to have as many folk craftsmen in both program areas join the open workshop route, network and open up their workshop to domestic and foreign visitors. We would like to further promote handicraft workshops through organized craft shows. We are trying to involve artisans who create their works from traditional folk art to the challenges of today's environmental culture. Through the implementation of the project we would like to draw attention to the craft values of the population living in the program area and its agglomeration, as well as the visitors, which, in addition to preserving traditions and keeping the traditions alive, tourism- thus market and economic growth can also be attributed. This thematic trip can increase the average length of stay and the number of overnight stays in the tourist area by introducing crafts. The awareness of creators is growing, and their job retention and job creation role can be increased. The project will produce a study that will reveal the quality assurance of the service providers, then, in the form of a quality assurance manual, propose the opportunities and tasks of quality improvement, and provides the opportunity to maintain project quality during the maintenance period.
