The main objective of the project “The wonders of the water and riding world along river Hornád ” is to strengthen cross-border cooperation in the field of sports and cultural tourism among partner municipalities.

As part of the implementation of the project, the necessary equipment will be acquired to improve the cultural experience and the extension of the provided attractions to the visitors. The main output of the project is a two-day, sport and cultural event in the territory of the municipality of Milhosť and Hidasnémeti.
By implementing a 2-day joint program, a wider offer will be created for both tourists and local residents. A program for a wide range of people will be created by combining the competition of horses, boating activities on the Hornád River together with tasting of local gastronomy, cultural performances and the creation of creative workshops for children. The larger range of services and offered attractions will motivate the wider neighborhood to visit our target region. In order to make the event more visible and reach as many tourists as possible, a joint marketing campaign will be carried out on both sides of the border.
