Who can apply for grant?

Eligible applicants have to be registered or have to have a branch office in the Programme area. You may find the map of eligible counties here. 

What is the elegible period of the project?

The small project implementation period can not be longer than 12 months. In exceptional and duly justified cases, its duration may be extended with 18 months after approval of the Small Project Fund Monitoring Committee.

What is the minimum and maximum amount of ERDF contribution at project level?

The minimum ERDF contribution at project level is EUR 20,000.
The maximum ERDF contribution at project level is EUR 50,000.

What is a partnership?

Projects must be prepared and implemented in cooperation between Slovak and Hungarian organizations. The minimum requirement for partnering is to have at least one Slovak partner and one Hungarian partner in the project. 

What does the Lead Beneficiary of the Small Project mean?

The Lead Beneficiary  is responsible for coordinating the project partnership. As the Lead Project Manager, it submits a project application on behalf of the entire project consortium. The lead beneficiary of the small project is the main contact point for administrative and qualitative evaluation. At the same time, it is informed of the result of the administrative and qualitative assessment and, if necessary, on behalf of the project partnership, makes a complaint.

What is the Small Project Partner principle?

A small project partner is actively engaged in project preparation. Partners of a small project sign the Partnership Agreement, which is a mandatory annex to the project application. A small project partner provides co-operation in case of additions within the framework of administrative and qualitative assessment. For a small project, each partner of a small project should be responsible for at least one activity. A small project partner provides support, information, and background material to the Lead Partner as part of project accouting and other project requirements.
